David has lived in Hackensack for 37 years. He graduated Hackensack High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a Master's Degree in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is currently studying for his PhD in Urban System (infrastructure, health, and schools).
David, 51, works for Honeywell Corp. as a Principal IT Designer and belongs to several industry professional organizations. He also owns two businesses based in Hackensack, an asset management company, Arris Investments LLC -- which manages real estate assets and intellectual property -- and a new commercial robotics business making drones for industrial purposes.
David has served on the Hackensack Zoning Board and volunteered his time with the Boy Scouts of America as well. In his spare time he pursues research in artificial intelligence, robotics, graphic design and real estate investing. He is an avid fan of college football, science fiction, and space travel.
David's wife, Jennifer, is a graduate of Boston College and will graduate in May with an Executive Master's Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. David and Jennifer have two young children and are members of the New Hope Baptist Church of Hackensack.
